Marvo to expand EMEA channels for gaming kit

China-based brand Marvo will look to expand its distribution reach in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region in 2017.

With a comprehensive portfolio of gaming products and accessories, Marvo will attend DISTREE EMEA 2017 in February in Monaco to meet face-to-face with senior executives from the region’s leading consumer tech distributors.

Lily Zhang, sales manager at Marvo, said: “Our goal from attending DISTREE EMEA is to look for new partners and distributors that we can create win-win relationships with. During the event we will share more information on Marvo and introduce our range of gaming products and give more details on our brand identity.”

The Marvo portfolio includes gaming mice, keyboards, headphones and speakers, backed up by a powerful brand image designed to appeal to the growing number of gamers worldwide. Hundreds of distributors have already confirmed their attendance at DISTREE EMEA and will have the chance to evaluate the Marvo brand and products and also meet key members of the vendor’s regional team.

Zhang added: “In the past 12 months, demand for gaming accessories has increased around the world. More teenagers are getting involved in gaming and we want to offer all the products and accessories they require.”

Marvo believes that it can offer a compelling channel proposition to distributors in EMEA. Marvo will be attending DISTREE EMEA for the first time in 2017. With a dedicated gaming zone at the event and a strong contingent of gaming-focused distributors set to attend, the stage is set for Marvo to realise its EMEA channel ambitions in 2017.

Zhang explained: “Marvo gaming products are positioned as midrange items – they are affordable. We work hard to have the right inventory and the right shipping terms for partners with no specific quantity demands. We look to reduce the investment pressure distributors and also offer a one-year warranty on products to help minimise distributor risk.”

Marvo believes in structured channels with protected rights for distributors in specific markets or regions where appropriate.

“We totally support the partners that really care about Marvo in their market,” said Zhang. “We can support distributors at local gaming exhibitions and help with social media activities.”

Marvo plans to work with existing distributors in 2017 to increase their market share. Simultaneously, the brand will look to appoint new distributors in markets where it does not yet have channel coverage.

DISTREE EMEA provides a perfect platform for brands from around the world to accelerate their channel development in the EMEA region. As a confirmed exhibitor at DISTREE EMEA, the Marvo team will be able to pre-schedule one-on-one meetings with senior buyers and executives from distributors focused on gaming or active in countries and regions that are top priorities for the brand in 2017.
